Mum of Three: Yippee we got picked to be a "Living with" tester ...: Received a very exciting phone call yesterday from   Pushchair Trader I  applied to be a    "Living with" tester" ...

All this talk of snow !!!


when will we get snow this year ? will we cope with it any better this year and will it be that bad ?

we had very bad snow last year in our small village in west lothain schools closed people couldn't get out of the village to work. I was luck that I had a pushchair that could handle the snow I have had over  60 pushchairs and I would say the mountain buggy and Phil and Teds sport are fab in the snow if it gets very deep I would take of the mudguards 

                                                                              

It also got me thinking so I have started getting ready I had seen some ski-suits on for your child facebook page last year and wished I had bought them so I put a message on their wall to see if they had any in stock they had them and I paid for them on Thursday and was shocked when the postman was at the door at 10 am the next day with them now that is super fast delivery !

The kids love them we tried them on and they didn't want to take them back off they have room to grow in them and I'm sure they will fit them right through the winter

Mountain buggy saves the holiday !!




Hubby is a private hire driver so we had no family holiday in the summer because if he takes time off we have no income so we saved up for a long weekend in Blackpool for the Illuminations
we went last weekend and had a fab time :-D

I was a bit worried that we would not fit the urban in the boot with all our other items we would need for a family of 5 but it was no problem  

We just arrived in Blackpool on Friday and my 4 year old told me he could not walk because he had a sore hip. We tried carrying him along the front thinking when he seen the shows he would be OK but no he was still sore so we let him In the urban and Jemma got out to walk but she got tired after a few hours so we jumped it a cab !!

Nickelodeon Land is the new edition to Blackpool Pleasure Beach

It has 12 fantastic new rides that the whole family can go on .
we got to meet some Nick characters. It also has a fab Nick Shop

We also went to the new tower eye It was great fun.You go it to the new 4d Cinema first,It a short film  brought to life with sensory effects, such as wind rain and sunshine, to bring all things 'Blackpool' to life.  you stand as the floor vibrates you can even take your pushchair in with you . We then went up to the top of the tower Hayden was not to sure if he liked it but he was OK when we got him to count the cars the wee scone

I have had  big problems with Jemma since she was 10 mths she climbs out of everything wish I had seen this before my life would have been so much easier I have used it on my mountain buggy ,quinny senzz ,maxi cosi car seat and even in the highchair in the last week

on the 2010 mountain buggy terrain

I bought the terrain after seeing a photo of it on the Mountain Buggy web page.The big wheels caught my eye and I knew I had to buy it :-) And as soon as I unpacked it, I could see how well made it was and knew I was in love <3

                                                


 My favourite features on the terrain are:

• the adjustable handle height;
• the adjustable harness strap (twist and slide) - it's just so easy to adjust;
• big basket with the new zip close feature;
• the storm cover is also very well made, and fits the pushchair perfect.

I only noticed one small negative point: that when there was a lot of grit put down on our paths for the snow, the grit got into the brake disc of the back wheels. However, this was an easy fix - I just had to take the wheels off and pop it back on again!
My overall thought on this pushchair is that it's one of the best pushchairs I have owned. It pushes like a dream, is great for all weather and on all terrain (handles great on sand and snow). Jemma would happily sit in the terrain for hours when we went for long walks and would climb in for her afternoon naps. I have recommended Mountain Buggy to a few friends and some people on facebook, who have since gone out and bought one and are very happy with them!
I love the terrain so much that I even took up a little bit of jogging for the first time in my life at age 30!
